Meet the Creators of Life, Love, and What I Lost

10780_10205045529396314_7055430477070720561_n Sometimes you meet someone and everything just falls into place. No, we aren’t madly in love, but once we realized the similarities in our music towards the end of our first year at UT, we knew we needed to create something special together. A match made in heaven (with matching backpacks), or maybe just a couple of new writers who had no idea what they were doing. We didn’t know what would come of it, we just kept writing our music. Once New Works 1520681_10203464033022912_5994899538853687200_napplications were released, we decided we might have something worth pursuing. With no hesitation and quite a few questions, we hit the ground running attempting to tie together something we could present with a pretty little bow.

We can now say with full confidence that we have grown both individually and as a team. There is no way to fully understand all that goes into putting a show together until you have a set deadline and you’re figuring at all as you go. We would like to thank Broadway Bank and The University of Texas for giving us this incredible opportunity to explore our craft. Thank you to our amazing professors, Quetta Carpenter, Robert Ramirez, Lyn Koenning, and the entire faculty here at UT who have encouraged us beyond belief. And to our cast, you are our sun.
